Dakota Rise is a Sioux Falls–based youth mentorship program that uses basketball as a tool to build discipline, responsibility, and character. The court is our classroom. The goal is not trophies. The goal is strong young men and women who respect authority, honor commitments, and show up prepared.

We believe structure changes outcomes.
We believe accountability builds leaders.
We believe prevention is stronger than reaction.

Our athletes are expected to:

• Show up on time

• Maintain academic standards

• Respect coaches, teachers, and parents

• Represent their families and community with integrity

This is not recreational babysitting. It is guided mentorship built on routine and expectation.

Dakota Rise partners with the Sioux Falls School District, Community Learning Centers, and the Sioux Falls YMCA. We currently serve youth at John Harris, Susan B. Anthony, and Hayward. We operate inside schools, community centers, and group homes with one constant: standards do not move.
